40th Birthday Messages

Hello there, well I can’t believe it’s been 40 years since I joined 4CRB!!!

Way back then I lived in Tweed Heads South at home with my parents as I was very ill and had been told at the tender age of 40 to put my house in order and my feet up; there nothing that could be done. I found God, although I was a nominal Christian, I prayed for forgiveness and He healed me. I found my radio station which I have listened to daily since. The memories of Dulcie and her love of classical music, talkback radio, songs so old!! Steve Stuttle ministering…
Now at the tender age of 80! and living in Victoria point … yes Barry, right where Joyce lived, I’m still enjoying 4CRB.
So thank you all for being there for me (and so many others) during our darkest times and our days of laughter, sharing, and learning…learning that when it dark, so dark, dawn must and will always follow.
My thanks, love and prayers for many more days to come.

I have lived in Tweed now for 4 years, and thought I could no longer hear the type of music I enjoyed, and then I found 4CRB. I enjoy listening to the station whenever I am in my car, and love the Best of Ben Fordham, and the happy vibes from your Breakfast announcer. I feel a connection to most of your presenters, and the amazing thing they are all volunteers. I have just purchased your online book, an enjoying discovering more of your history, and will be there on Saturday, 14th September to connect with the station in person. I make a small donation each year, and I wish you a happy birthday, and many more. 40 years is a wonderful achievement, and just shows that you are doing things well. Congratulations and keep up the great asset to our community

As a local entertainer I am indebted to 4CRB for supporting me by playing my song 'The Spirit of Matilda' regularly on air. The way 4CRB have promoted me has been incredible and I cannot thank you and your announcers enough.
