Dad was the Rev Derek Pryde who shared his vision with Hilton Redding, to establish 4CRB. Dad was always looking for new ways of doing things. Reading Hilton's book has brought back numerous memories of the early days and the many volunteers who played the foundations of this wonderful Christian radio station. Dad would be ecstatic to see that it is still going and going from strength to strength. Thank you all for continuing Dad's vision. A special thanks to Hilton for having the tenacity to jump through many, many hurdles.

Some friends from Sydney put me onto 4CRB and it’s been my constant companion living in Palm Beach for 37 years. I also am a supporter and came into the station once many years ago and received a kiss from Barry Coleman for my birthday, I’ll have to return the favour. I’m 96 and am experienced at celebrating birthdays! I love your radio programs, they’re entertaining and informative.
Looking forward to celebrating 40 years of local radio.

Hi, thanks heaps for your shows. Love it all. Especially Saturday afternoon 60’s music.
My late sister Betty Churchill was an announcer in the early days even when you had LP’s. My husband had a large hotel in Hobart and ran disco’s. When the DJ's were updating their music we acquired all the LP’s.
I eventually gave dozens to Betty and she played them on the turnstile in your studio on radio. eg . Col Joye, Lonnie Lee, Sandy Scott, I could. go on and on. When I leave my kitchen and go to bedroom for a little bit I turn that radio on. Thank you even for Ben Fordam, Centrelink talks, health, law , 9.00 christian music of a night, Sunday morning 🙏 etc. Hoping to see you on Saturday.
Congratulations to all!!
Thank again. 🙏🙏

4CRB what a fantastic station. Great music, entertainment and stories of the day.
The program is varied with a great range of music. The announcers are fabulous. They are kind, considerate, sweet and caring and generally just love life. This comes across loud and clear.
My favourite annoucer is Barry followed by Wayne but they all do an exceptional job. Barry’s breakfast show is done with great joy and enthusiasm. I want to have what he is on! Who is so bright and bubbly at 5’oclock in the morning. He acknowledges all of us and makes you feel like a close family. He really gets you involved. Text messages are answered which make you feel special.
SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY 4CRB! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. HOPE YOU HAVE MANY MORE!

I have lived in Tweed now for 4 years, and thought I could no longer hear the type of music I enjoyed, and then I found 4CRB. I enjoy listening to the station whenever I am in my car, and love the Best of Ben Fordham, and the happy vibes from your Breakfast announcer. I feel a connection to most of your presenters, and the amazing thing they are all volunteers. I have just purchased your online book, an enjoying discovering more of your history, and will be there on Saturday, 14th September to connect with the station in person. I make a small donation each year, and I wish you a happy birthday, and many more. 40 years is a wonderful achievement, and just shows that you are doing things well. Congratulations and keep up the great asset to our community
