Youth mental health services are calling for more funding to cope with the increasing demand for support.
The Annual Kids Helpline Impact report has revealed 5,190 young people needed crisis intervention in 2025, up by 350 per cent compared to the decade’s lowest year (2018.)
Nine per cent of kids were Indigenous, and one third of them reported having suicidal thoughts.
