Australia’s Kindest Person is a national movement and live awards event that celebrates everyday Australians whose acts of kindness are changing lives.

Built on the belief that kindness is powerful, contagious, and often overlooked, the campaign invites people across the country to nominate individuals making a genuine difference in their communities.

The campaign culminates in a live gala awards dinner held at Dreamworld on November 13 (World Kindness Day), bringing together finalists, partners, media, and community leaders, with finalists honoured on stage and one individual named Australia’s Kindest Person.

The winner receives a AUD50,000 prize, split between themselves and a charity of their choice, ensuring the impact extends beyond recognition into real, tangible change.
